摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a wavelength.clock synchronization system in the optical communication system in which a reference signal is transmitted from a reference station through one transmission line. CONSTITUTION:A reference station 100 of the optical communication system is provided with a sawtooth wave generating circuit 1 modulating a current at a period being plural multiple of multiplexed wavelength of a system clock period, an E/O converter 2 modulating an optical wavelength by its modulated current and an optical wavelength selector 3 outputting a light ray with a specific wavelength of the light ray from the converter 2. Thus, the reference station 100 transmits a reference signal superimposed by reference wavelength information together with reference clock information. A transmission station uses the reference signal to output a transmission signal by synchronizing the wavelength with the clock signal.
