PURPOSE:To vary speed and torque characteristics readily without a special control circuit by moving the central positions of the poles of a pair of opposing stators. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 2 which is made of aluminum, aluminum alloy, copper, copper alloy, castings, or the like is provided in a flat-plate shape between a pair of opposing stator 1 and 1'. Bolts 10 and the like, which are to fix the stators to a bracket 6, are made to the movable in the rotating direction of a rotor 2 along the long holes in the bracket, and fixes the stators 1 and 1' at the specified positions. Or at least two or more positions between the brackets 6 and 6', to which both stators are fixed, and in a frame 12, can be made to be fixed, threreby the manu facturing is easily accomplished. In this constitution, speed and torque characteristics can be readily varied without a special circuit. |
