PURPOSE:To provide an electromagnetic induction heating cooker in which a knife is never heated to a high temperature even if placed near a heating coil, and the result of cooking is enhanced by providing first and second timers, a small material detecting circuit, and a drive prohibition holding means. CONSTITUTION:A first timer 32 outputs a time-up signal after 3.5 seconds when a small material detecting circuit 38 detects a load not suitable for heating, and outputs a pulse. A second timer 34 outputs a time-up signal after 1 second when a pulse is outputted from the circuit 38 before the timer 32 outputs the time-up signal, and outputs the time-up signal after 3 seconds when the pulse is outputted from the circuit 36 after the timer 32 outputs the time-up signal. A prohibition releasing means 37 releases the prohibition signal outputted from a drive prohibition holding means 30 according to the time-up signal outputted from the timer 34. Thus, even if a knife is placed near a heating coil, it never become a high temperature. Further, cooking performance in frizzing can be improved. |
