PURPOSE:To provide an auto-focusing device of an electronic camera which is provided with a line-of-sight detection means without being enlarged so that the camera can be focused according to the output of the line-of-sight detection means. CONSTITUTION:An auto-focusing device includes an image sensor 1 which receives an image 5 of a subject for photography and outputs an image signal, a storage means 18 for storing the image signal, a line-of-sight detection means 20 for detecting the direction of the line of sight within the viewing frame of a viewfinder, and a focus detection means 14 for focusing a subject for photography which corresponds to the direction of the line of sight detected by the line-of-sight detection means 20. |
