摘要 A mechanical device for automatically tallying and marking plastic mouldings consists of an automatically incremented figure counter permanently fitted inside the mould. The counter is simultaneously incremented by the opening of the mould and leaves a mark imprinted on the moulding. A gear box (1) is built into the mould contg. a six shaft incrementation system in which each shaft rotates one tenth of a turn for each complete turn of the preceeding shaft. Each shaft carries a group of seven cams (3-9) each with 10 positions either having a low or high state. The cams operate 42 rods (3'-9') that pass through guides in the gear box base and form 6 dot matrix figures that imprint the moulding. The initial shaft is incremented by the opening of the mould through a gear trans (21,22). The counter is approx. 6cmx5cmx3cm giving a mark 4 cm long and 0.8 cm high. USE/ADVANTAGE - Automatic incremental marking of plastic mouldings e.g. thermoformed, injection or blow mouldings. Eliminates manual changing of making dies or need for separate printing operation while allowing unique port marking.
