PURPOSE:To efficiently and easily confirm the sensor levels of plural sensors by freely attachably and detachably connecting a display device, which successively displays the sensor levels of the respective sensors, to a paper money identifying device. CONSTITUTION:When it is desired to confirm the sensor levels of respective sensors 10-17 at a paper money identifying device 1 in the case of maintenance or the like, an input terminal 22 of a display device 2 is connected to a connector 19 of the paper money identifying device 1. Next, a normal operation mode is switched to a measurement mode by operating a DIP switch 21 of the paper money identifying device 1. Then, one sensor number showing the first sensor 10 displayed at the first figure display part of the display device 2 is confirmed, and the sensor level of the first sensor 10 displayed at the second - fourth figure display parts is confirmed. Afterwards, the sensor number displayed at the first figure display part is switched to the next number by operating the select switch of the display device 2, the sensor level of the second sensor 11 displayed at the second - fourth figure display parts is confirmed and then, the similar operation is repeated. |
