<p>PURPOSE:To stop the operation certainly without occurrence of over-motions by judging if it is any earthquake when a tremor over the first level exists, and actuating operation stop when it is earthquake and a tremor exceeds the second level. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic capacitance of a capacitance sensor 10 of a tremor sensing part 1 varies with the acceleration generated by any tremor, and a signal of frequency foot is emitted according to the change in the capacitance. A microcomputer 2 calculates the tremor acceleration from the output of the sensing part 1 and therefrom computes the tremor energy per period as specified. When the tremor energy exceeds the first level set previously, judgement is made by fuzzy presumption whether the applicable tremor is due to earthquake. If earthquake, elevator in running is stopped at the nearest floor. Then the level output is reset, and the operation is restituted to normal mode. If judged as earthquake and when the tremor energy is over the second lever which lies higher, the elevator is stopped at the nearest floor and the operation is put in standstill.</p> |
