PURPOSE: To control the speed and acceleration of a load varying with time by sampling the speed of a rotor, comparing the sampled speed with a specified acceleration profile and then regulating the switching angle to drive the rotor according to the specified acceleration profile. CONSTITUTION: A position register 40 provides a count Keϕout indicative of the current position of the rotor of a motor 26 and a position generator 42 provides a countϕideal indicative of a predicted position of the rotor at the end of current step based on the number of steps outputted from a control logic circuit 12. The errorϕerror is then compared with a reference valueϕReference generated by the control logic circuit 12. The reference value is incremented or decremented when the error value is different from the reference value by comparing the speed between respective steps with a minimum speed Vmin and a target speed Vin. More specifically, closed loop control is performed while grasping the position, speed and acceleration of the rotor of a motor 26. |
