The precast reinforced concrete plate (7) for fixing posts, specially lamp posts with fitted baseplates (5), has holding down bolts (11) with threaded tops for nuts fixing the baseplates of the posts. The bolts (10) are anchored in a concrete foundation (3), with their bottoms held together with a binder (14) welded to them. The flange plate may be of moulded concrete with a hole in its middle for a cable duct (17) housing electric cables for lighting. The hole in the centre of the flange plate may be truncated. The plates are reinforced with steel stirrups. USE/ADVANTAGES - No oxidization problems with concrete plate, simple construction, easy installation, reduced erection costs.
