PURPOSE:To direct the surfaces of all chips by providing a member, which has an arcuate surface and in which two spiral grooves mutually elongated in the opposite direction are formed onto extensions in the two directions on the arcuate surface. CONSTITUTION:A side conversion member 22 is formed in a semicylindrical shape, and two spiral grooves 25, 26 are formed to the arcuate surface 23 of the member 22. The spiral grooves 25, 26 have starting points 25A, 26A at mutually adjacent positions on the side adjacent to a chip distributing unit, extended divided to both sides of the semicylindrical side conversion member 22 respectively, and have each end point 25B, 26B at an end section on the reverse side to the chip distributing unit. The spiral grooves 25, 26 are formed so that a chip C is discharged from the end points 25B, 26B under the state, in which a surface C1 and a rear C2 are directed in the horizontal direction, when the chip C approaches to the starting points 25A, 26A of the spiral grooves 25, 26 under the state, in which the surface C1 and the rear C2 are directed in the vertical direction. Accordingly, all the chips are enabled to have their right sides turned up. |
