<p>PURPOSE:To speedily detect inserting and ejecting operations and to electrically interrupt between a main body device and an IC card because the latch-up destruction of elements or massive through currents are generated in the case of inserting and ejecting an IC card while leaving the power source of the main body device turned on. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with an eject button 10 equipped with a notch 11 for ejecting an IC card 1, mobile detector 13 for detecting the notch 11, conversion circuit for converting the detected result to an electric signal, and cut-off circuit for electrically cutting off the main body device and the IC card 1 based on the converted result. The mobile detector 13 is set at a position, where pushing-down is canceled by the notch 11, and can detect inserting/ejecting start and fitting completion. At the time of starting inserting and ejecting, the main body device and the IC card are cut off and at the time of completing fitting, the cut-off is canceled by these circuits.</p> |
