<p>PURPOSE:To shorten time for initializing a main memory at an information processor having large memory capacity. CONSTITUTION:A starting means instructs a start address and execution start from a system control unit SCU to respective logical arithmetic units EPU 0-EPU 3. When an allocated main memory area is completely initialized, the respective EPU 0-3 perform end interruption to the SCU by using interrupting means. The SCU successively processes interruption requests from the respective EPU 0-3 and after the SCU performs one kind of interruption processing, the EPU 0-3 send the held interruption to the SCU by using re-interrupting means. While initializing the main memory, the initialization processing is executed without being blocked by invalidizing a re-interruption request from the SCU by a refusing means. By using a timer means, the SCU recognizes the EPU 0-3 to put out no response by memory abnormality and enables questions to these EPU 0-3.</p> |
