<p>PURPOSE:To improve productivity by enlarging the tolerance of positional accuracy between a diode array and a lens array in a line head utilizing an end surface light emitting diode as a light emitting element. CONSTITUTION:The lens array 8 providing condenser lenses 7 successively in the direction of main scanning at a prescribed pitch is provided, and the mirror array 11 providing many roof mirrors 10 deflecting an incident beam in a nearly opposite direction by two times of reflections successively at the same pitch as the condenser lenses is provided, and the lens array 8 and the mirror array 11 are arranged in an optical system where the image is formed by the beam outgoing from the end surface light emitting diode 2 and the positional adjustment of an optical parts is facilitated, and such an optical parts are constituted so as to be fixed on one piece of head frame 15.</p> |
