PURPOSE:To display the presence of a contract simultaneously with the channel selection by using a different stimulated light for a channel display section from a contracted channel and an uncontracted channel. CONSTITUTION:A display section has 7 LEDs (light emitting diodes) as segments a-g, and each segment consists of segments having two kinds of stimulated colors connecting to independent terminals A-G, two common terminals R, Y. Then the home terminal equipment is provided with a memory section storing contracted channels and uncontracted channels separately, and the common terminal Y used to stimulate a yellow-green color of the segment for the contracted channel is correspondent and the common terminal R used to stimulate a red color of the segment for the uncontracted channel is correspondent, and when a channel selection takes place, the channel is collated with a content stored in advance and the result is displayed on the channel display section. Thus, when a subscriber makes channel selection, whether the channel is a viewing enable channel or a viewing disable channel because of no contract is discriminated at a glance. |
