PURPOSE:To provide a battery pack fixing device for the portable telephone set able to surely support a battery pack in which a pressing pressure of a lock release button is reduced. CONSTITUTION:A bearing part 12 having a long insert part long in a direction at a right angle to a bottom 7a is provided to a moving hook container 7 and a projection 8 is provided to an upper face and a moving hook exposure part 9 is formed to a battery pack mount 4 and a moving hook 13 having a claw 14 is contained and a support shaft 16 is inserted to the bearing part 12, the moving hook 13 is lifted up by a coil spring 17 to project the claw 14 from the moving hook exposure part 9 and when the telephone set is fallen down or a battery pack 3 is pulled, the moving hook 13 is lifted up through the claw 14 engaged with an engagement recessed part 21 and the support shaft 16 is in contact with an upper ridge of the bearing part 12 and an upper end of the claw 14 is in butting contact with the projection 8 to block the turning of the moving hook 13, the claw 14 is not unlocked to support the battery pack 3 strongly.
