PURPOSE:To provide a hydrogen storage alloy battery having an excellent load characteristic and excellent safety by facilitating reabsorption of gas generated from an electrode when electricity is charged or discharged, and controlling a pressure increase inside of the battery. CONSTITUTION:In a hydrogen storage alloy battery having a negative electrode formed by integrating hydrogen storage alloy powder into a metallic porous body, a positive electrode and a separator, hydrogen storage alloy packing density in the negative electrode is set to be 5.2-5.7g/cm<3>. |
