PURPOSE:To obtain a portable image pickup display device matched with human's visual action capable of experiencing a distance sense approximate to practical observation and having high operability by adjusting a display optical system while linking with an image pickup optical system. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a forehead loading part 1 to be put on a user's head so as to optically expand a display screen and visualize an image and a recording part 6 to be carried independently of the loading part 1. An image pickup part is fixed to a position close to right and left visual lines on the front part of the loading part 1, an image pickup lens control part 23 and a display lens control part 32 to be interlockingly controlled so that the focal distance of an image pickup/display system and congestion are in optimum conditions are arranged and controlled by a main control part 27 so that a display optical axis always coincides with the image pickup optical axis. In addition, a recording/reproducing control part 34 for recording/ reproducing display focal distance information fL 33 synchronously with the recording/reproducing of display signals Voa 31a, Vob 31b is provided. |
