AUTOMATIC DISCRIMINATING DEVICE FOR ADDING SOUND EFFECT

PURPOSE:To accurately discriminate a music signal and an announce signal in a frame by discriminating the number by signals of all stereo signals in the frame. CONSTITUTION:On the frame discriminated as a sound frame by a silence number discriminating means 4, a means 15 by level difference numbers discriminates whether the all signals in the frame is a music signal or an announce signal by the level difference between an L signal input 1 and an R signal input 2 of the stereo signal. The one with the higher discriminated signal numbers is decided as a music frame or an announce frame. Thus, the discrimination accuracy is improved and the discrimination whether or not the input is the music or announce signal is accurately performed.
