PURPOSE:To provide an illumination light having the even distribution of luminance at a high efficiency of quantity of light by providing a liquid core light guide means, in which a liquid core is used, between a light guide means and an object. CONSTITUTION:The illumination light from a light source 1 is made to enter the incidence side end surface 3a of a bundle optical fiber 3 by a converging lens 2 to form an image of the light source 1. In the injection side end surface 3b, the distribution of luminance of the illumination light of the incidence side end surface 3a is evened at some degree for transmission. Next, the image of the injection side end surface 3b is formed on an incidence side end surface 5a of a liquid core optical fiber 5 by a relay lens 4. The illumination light entered the core optical fiber 5 repeats the total reflection inside thereof, and thereafter, the illumination light is injected from the injection side end surface 5b. At this stage, even in the case where the distribution of luminance in the incident side end surface 5a of the liquid core optical fiber 5 is not even, the distribution of luminance of the illumination light injected from the injection side end surface 5b is averaged to be evened. |
