The vehicle section has upper longitudinal struts, and connection levers, engaging on the struts. The levers extend downwards to assembly bearings, and form holders for shock absorbers for vehicle wheels. Transverse struts extend towards lower longitudinal struts. These is no direct connection between connection levers (3,4) and transverse struts (19,20), or between levers and lower longitudinal struts (21,22). The transverse distances (q1,2) between each upper strut (1,2) and the shock absorber holder (13,14), as well as between each strut and the assembly bearing (10,22) on the neighbouring lever, are chosen, so that the upper longitudinal struts are mainly free of torsional moments.
