The fixture (1) has two deformation bodies which perform the function of a dowel, and the pressure pieces are screws or discs. The fixture mechanism is mounted in a hole, and an elastic, vibration-absorbing deformation body, supported by a pressure piece against the surface of the component to be fitted, is so forced into the hole that it exerts an equal surface pressure on the hole wall, preventing it being withdrawn. Two opposing holes can be involved, with the deformation bodies being supported against the surface of the component to be installed by two pressure pieces. One of the deformation bodies is effective on one side, and the other on both sides. USE/ADVANTAGE - For the installation of stairways, facades etc. to fix components so that they are vibration-damped.
