The synchronous control for adjusting chairs consists of a seat part (4), a back part (5) integrated into, or fixed to, the backrest (10), and a fixed support frame (2) to which the front of the seat and the backrest are attached. The backrest is linked to a fixed point (14) on the support frame (2). The front part (6) of the seat slides in a sliding bearing (8) consisting of a horizontal elongated hole. The seat back (19) is supported by a pivot lever (16) fixed to the seat. The freely mounted seat is joined to the backrest by means of a drag lever (21). USE/ADVANTAGE - The simple synchronous adjustment control for chairs, especially office chairs, uses the sitter's weight to produce the counter force for adjusting the backrest, with the drag lever pulling the seat back at the same time as the seat is lifted by the pivot lever.
