Soft gelatin capsules filled with lysine clonixinate as active substance in a hydrophilic matrix. The capsules according to the invention are distinguished by excellent storage stability, ease of manufacture and rapid activity on oral administration. The hydrophilic matrix comprises polyethylene glycol with an average molecular weight of approximately 200 to 1000 or a mixture thereof with propylene glycol and/or propylene carbonate, 3 to 10% by weight of glycerol and 5 to 15% by weight of water. The soft gelatin capsules can be employed for states of pain and inflammations. |
