<p>A phosphor powder based on manganese-doped zinc silicate (Zn2SiO4:Mn), with an average particle size of less than 20 micrometres and a decay time of less than 7 ms. A production method is also provided and comprises mixing zinc oxide, silica and manganese sulphate in an aqueous medium, drying the mixture and curing it at 1200-1400 °C. Said phosphor is suitable for use in cathode ray tubes.</p> |
