At opposite ends of the fishing rod drum (1) are axially extending pins (2', 2'') which are considerably smaller than the drum dia. They can be gripped and turned by the fingers of a hand, producing a great rotation speed and a corresp. great rotation speed in the drum as the line is wound up or unwound. - Connected to the drum is at least one bite-indicating pliable arm (6, 6'), whose one end can be fixed in a seat in the drum and which in the area of its opposite end has a line-guiding fork (7). The bite-indicating arm in its fitted state in the seat is pliable in a plane parallel with the drum geometrical rotation axis. |
