The apparatus for restarting the laser after turning off the high voltage when the unbalanced discharge of the laser is occured comprises an inverter amplifier (1) amplifying the drop voltage of resistor (R1-4), a difference amplifier (2) amplifying the output of the amplifier (1), a timing controller (3) providing high signal when all of discharge lamps (K1-4) are discharged but pulse when the lamps are discharged with unbalance, a driver (4) controlling a high voltage relay (Ry1) with the output of the controller (3), and a high voltage generator (8) providing high voltage through a stop relay (5), a rectifier (6) and a high voltage transformer (6).
