发明名称 Verfahren zur Herstellung von Stahl
摘要 1,218,938. Steelmaking. ARMCO STEEL CORP. Oct.3, 1968 [Oct.11, 1967], No.47014/68. Heading C7D. Steel is produced by a basic oxygen process in which a charge of solid iron and steel is preheated to a temperature below the incipient fusion temperature of the charge, a sufficient quantity of oxidizable solid fuels and fluxes to melt and refine the charge is added to an open topped converter followed by the pre-heated charge, a steam of oxygen is directed against the charge to rapidly melt a hole therethrough so that the oxygen meets and ignites the solid fuel. The oxygen stream is terminated when the solid fuels have been exhausted the temperature of the molten bath is adjusted to a suitable tapping temperature and poured. A major proportion of the solid fuel is preferably carbonaceous, e.g. coke, coal or petroleum coke, and a minor proportion is selected from ferrosilicon, calcium carbide and silicon carbide. A portion of the flux e.g. lime, sand and fluorspar may be added at an intermediate stage during an interruption in the oxygen blow.
