<p>PURPOSE:To provide the subject medium where cells such as hepatocytes or hybridoma can actively be grown with high survival rate. CONSTITUTION:The objective serumless or low-serum medium containing a level of 10mM-1M (pref. 20-200mM, esp. 30-100mM) of L-alanine. As constituents for the medium other than L-alanine, active ingredients considered to be needed for normal cell culture, other than protein components, are required; for example, nutritive ingredients such as sodium pyruvate, sodium L-glutamate, ethanolamine, vitamins, or selenous acid; besides, a basal medium containing essential amino acid ingredients necessary as fundamental nutritive sources.</p> |
