PURPOSE:To provide an ink cartridge holder which can fix an ink jet head by positioning it accurately. CONSTITUTION:An ink cartridge formed by joining a head substrate 4 wherein an ink jet head 18 is formed on its one surface, to an ink tank is provided. A carriage 30 having a support wall 33 on which a positioning part and three projections 48 are formed and a pressurizing means 35, is provided. By forcing one surface 12 of a head substrate 13 onto three projections 48 of the support wall 33 by the pressurizing means 35, a position of the ink jet head 18 formed integrally with a head substrate 4 is accurately determined, and a connector 24 on the carriage 30 is brought into contact with a contact point on the head substrate 4. |
