<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the surface hardening of slag and to effectively pour the slag to a converter so as to recycle the slag by blowing gas into the slag in a slag ladle, thereby bubbling the slag. CONSTITUTION:The slag 2 generated in converter refining is charged in a molten state via the slag ladle 1 into the converter, by which the slag is recycled. A lance pipe 3 is inserted from the upper part near a trough port 8 into the slag 2 received into the slag ladle 1 at this time and the gas 4, such as air, is blown into the slag. The gas 4 ascends in the form of bubbles 5 in the slag 2 and carries the high-temp. internal slag to the surface at this time. As a result, the solidification of the slag particularly near the trough port 8 and the generation of skinning are prevented. The molten slag 2 in the slag ladle 1 is safely and efficiently poured into the converter through the trough port 8 by tilting the slag ladle.</p> |
