<p>PURPOSE:To provide an equipment where the hindrance to treatment caused by the accumulation of sludge on a filter bed is effectively eliminated and the stable treatment is continued in a waste water treatment equipment using an aerobic microorganism for separating and removing sludge by a filter bed. CONSTITUTION:An aeration tank 2 is divided into plural filter beds 5 by a partition wall 4 near the bottom part. A water collecting part 7 of each filter bed is connected to a treated water tank 9 by a conduit tube 8. A backwash pump 10 is installed in the middle of the conduit tube 8 and during the backwash pump is stopped the treated water flows in the treated water tank 9 from the water collecting part 7 through the conduit tube 8 and during the backwash pump is operated the filter bed 9 is backwashed with water in the treated water tank 9. And plural backwash pumps 10 are not operated at the same time but are operated for a short time at the specified time intervals to successively backwash the plural sectioned filter beds 5 and even during backwash they continue passing water through the filter beds not concerned.</p> |
