PURPOSE:To automatically perform welding in an uniform joining shape without generating an individual difference. CONSTITUTION:The voltage is impressed between a welding wire 11 and base metals 12 to be welded, while the base metals 12 are welded by the welding wire 11, a weld zone is photographed by a camera and the size and shape of a molten pool are stored in a picture processor 14. At the time of restarting after welding is stopped, the position of the molten pool when welding is stopped is remolten by an arc, the size and shape of the molten pool molten are compared with the size and shape of the molten pool stored by the picture processor 14 and when the picture processor 14 detects that the size and shape of the molten pool molten are almost coincident with the size and shape of the molten pool stored, welding is started and welding in the uniform joining shape is performed. |
