PURPOSE:To stably continue a polishing work even under load. CONSTITUTION:When a valve 26 is opened, compressed air for driving is introduced into a rotor 50 from an introduction passage 48 in a rotary shaft 50 by way of an intake port 11. The compressed air then flows through a communication hole 54 and enters into an air chamber 51 so that it is discharged into an air motor chamber 44 from a jet hole 52. The reaction force of the jetted compressed air produce a torque for a rotor 50 so that an air motor 30 is driven. Further, a rotary vibrator 20 coupled to the rotary shaft 40 of the air motor 50 by means of a spring coupling 22 is rotated at a high speed. Since the eccentric weight of the vibrator 20 is enhanced by a weight 24, generated vibration is transmitted to a pad 15 through the intermediary of a cap 19 and a base plate 14. |
