The color cathode ray tube comprising a panel (11) formed with an aluminium-deposited film, which is connected to the stud pin (11a) a frame (12) which supports a shadow mask (13) and an inner shield (14) and is supported by the stud pin mounted on the inner surface of the panel, and a funnel (15) formed with a electroconductive graphite film (15b) is characterized by forming a long hole (20) on the inner shield and/or the frame positioned apainst the gatter container (16a), and forming a gatter film (18) for electrical connecting the aluminium-deposited film and the conductive graphite film through the long hole.
