<p>PURPOSE:To surely detect a jam wound on a fixing roller irrespective of sheet size. CONSTITUTION:On arrival of a cut sheet at a paper discharge sensor 11, a downcounter provided in a CPU 1 and to which a value corresponding to a length slightly shorther than that of the cut sheet is preset is started, and if the counter is in counting action when the paper discharge sensor detects that there is no paper, then a jam wound on a fixing roller is recognized.</p> |
