PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer recording material having a support using a high-molecular aromatic polyether copolymer excellent in mechanical strength, heat resistance and solvent resistance and capable of forming an image of high printing quality at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer recording material has a support using an aromatic polyether copolymer having a specific structure obtained from dihalogeno-aromatic ketone, dihalogenobenzonitrile and dihydric phenols and a thermal transfer ink layer. |
