<p>PURPOSE:To save water supply to an absorption column efficiently by decreasing an absolute humidity (H2Okg/dry gas kg) in a smoke to be treated significantly and thereby allowing said humidity to get close to an absolute humidity level in the untreated exhaust smoke to be introduced into an exhaust smoke desulfurization device. CONSTITUTION:At least, part of an absorption liquid slurry based on a calcium absorbent is taken out of an absorption system loop 4, then is allowed to evaporate in vacuum, and the cooled absorption liquid slurry is obtained. At the same time, a generated vapor is cooled to obtain a condensate and the cooled absorption liquid slurry is returned to an absorption system loop to cool the absorption liquid slurry which comes in contact with an exhaust smoke. Thus the temperature of the exhaust smoke after desulfurization is maintained below the adiabatic cooling saturated temperature level of the exhaust smoke before desulfurization, and at the same time, the condensate is used as a make-up water. The moisture of the absorption liquid slurry is evaporated in a vaporization tank 9 in vacuum, then the sensible heat portion of the absorption liquid slurry is converted to the evaporation latent head of water, so that the absorption liquid slurry is cooled to a specified temperature level.</p> |
