<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a method for treating especially gas exhausted from ships, when an exhaust gas containing a sulfure oxide and a nitrogen oxide is treated. CONSTITUTION:The method for treating an exhaust gas is to fill a flue for an exhaust gas containing a sulfure oxide and a nitrogen oxide with pelletized or honeycomb-shaped alkali absorbent consisting of 50 to 100wt.% of Ca(OH)2, 0 to 20wt.% of Fe2O3 and 0 to 30wt.% of SiO2, and allow the exhaust gas to pass through the absorbent.</p> |
