METHOD FOR PREVENTING ETCHING OF STUCK TILE AT TIME OF AUTOCLAVE CURING OF PC PLATE

PURPOSE:To avert the discoloration of tiles by preventing the etching of tile surfaces generated by the elution of the glassy material in glaze surface layers by the alkaline hot water and steam formed by the alkaline component of cement or concrete at the time of subjecting tiled PC plates to an autoclave treatment. CONSTITUTION:A silicone emulsion which has alkali resistance and functions as a tacky adhesive as well is applied on the tile surfaces of the tried concrete panels parted from molds in a primary curing stage and a polyester film having heat resistance is stuck thereon. The attack of the tile surfaces by the alkali is prohibited during the autoclave treatment by the double coating of the silicone film and the heat resistant film, by which the generation of the etching is prevented. Even if there is some defect in either of the coating, the other makes up the coating function. Then, strictness is not required for the coating operation and sticking operation and the etching is inexpensively and efficiently prevented.
