<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize an engine idling speed by providing a variable electric load means which consumes an electric amount generated by a power generator driven through an internal combustion engine, and controlling the electric consumption amount according to the engine speed. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 18 of a power generator 16 is driven by an internal combustion engine through a belt. A control part 44 receives signals of an opening sensor 46 and an engine speed sensor 18, sets a control switch 32 ON, supplies electric current to a field coil 22 for generating electric current on a stator coil 38, and outputs it to a variable resistor 42. The variable resistor 42 as an electric load consumes all of the generated electric amount of the power generator 16. In case that an engine speed exceeds a target value during idling operation, the resistance of the variable resistor 42 is increased for increasing the electric load and decreasing the engine speed. When the engine speed does not reach the target value, the resistance is decreased for increasing the engine speed. The engine speed is thus stabilized during idling operation.</p> |
