PURPOSE:To prevent creasing on the external wall of a side wall part and to improve appearance and durability by forming a folded part of a carcass by way of folding it from a main body part toward the inside from the outside in the tire axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A carcass 6 consists of a first carcass piece 9 provided with a folded part 9b to fold the circumference of a bead core 5 from the outside in the tire axial direction inside on a main body part 9a from a tread part 2 as a starting point to a bead part 4 through one side wall part 3A and a second carcass piece 3B furnished with a folded part 10b folding the circumference of the bead core from the outside in the tire axial direction inside on a main body part 10a with a tread part 2 as a starting point and having an overlapped part D of 0-70% with the first carcass piece 9 and the tread width. Height HI of the head end of the folded parts of these first and the second carcass pieces from a bead bottom surface 4a is specified as more than 0.5 time to less than 0.8 time of the tire maximum height H. |
