PURPOSE:To eliminate loss of product and time in restarting up of an equipment. CONSTITUTION:The equipment uses an air separating device which contains a material air compressor 11, a main heat exchanger 2 for cooling the compressed air, a rectifying tower 3 for separating two or more kinds of constituents selectively from the cooled material air using the differences of boiling points, and refining, a cold generating means (freezer 7, expansion turbine 8, etc.) for supplying cold to the tower 3, and tanks 4, 5 for storing the constituents separated in liquid according to the kind. The equipment is also provided with a liquid nitrogen tank 4 as one of a plurality of tanks to store separated liquid constituents according to the kind. Between the tank 4 and the cold generating means, a tank nitrogen feeding pipe for feeding liquid nitrogen in the tank 4 into a system of the cold generating means is installed.
