PURPOSE:To improve capture efficiency of a range hood by so disposing a fan that an outlet of a discharge air duct of the fan is disposed close to a wall surface from an inlet. CONSTITUTION:A hood body 5 disposed in a state extended forward from a wall surface 13 is provided, and a centrifugal fan 3 is so disposed that an outlet 7 of a discharge air duct is disposed close to the surface 13 from an inlet 6. Further, the fan 3 is so disposed as to be directed laterally of a suction port 4 of the fan. Thus, the port 4 is disposed forward in the body 5, and the port 4 can cope, for example, with a burner 12 of a front row of four-burner cooking stoves 2 in this state. In this manner, capture efficiency of a range hood 1 can be improved. |
