<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the lighting type joy stick provided with electric decorativeness by providing an operating direction detecting means for detecting the operating direction of a transparent or translucent operating lever being freely tiltable, and a light emitting means opposed to the lower end face of the operating lever, and controlling a light emission of the light emitting means, based on a result of detection of the operating direction detecting means. CONSTITUTION:The joy stick is provided with operating direction detecting means 41-44 for detecting the operating direction of a transparent or translucent operating lever 1 which can be operated so as to be freely tiltable, and a light emitting means 8 opposed to the lower end face of the operating lever 1, and based on a result of detection of the operating direction detecting means 41-44, a light emission of the light emitting means 8 is controlled by a light emission control means 9. Or instead of the operating lever 1, a transparent or translucent ball which can be operated so as to be freely turnable is provided, or an optical cable for guiding light of the light emitting means to the operating lever is provided. Based on a result of detection of the operating direction detected in accordance with a tilting operation of the operating lever 1, the light emitting means 8 is allowed to emit light, and light transmits through from the lower end face of the operating lever 1 to the upper part, and is subjected to irregular reflection to the outside during that time.</p> |
