<p>PURPOSE:To enlarge a sweet area, and to provide a head for the golf club having a superwide area. CONSTITUTION:In front of a head main body 2 consisting of a beryllium copper alloy or stainless steel, a recessed part 5 and a window hole 6 are formed. A face member 4 formed by titanium or a titanium alloy is fitted and attached to the recessed part 5. In the rear of the window hole 6, a rear part shell 11 is provided through a cavity 10. Thus, the centroid G of the head comes near to the sole 1 and the rear part shell 11 side and is apart from the face 3 and the distance to the face 3 is increased. In such a manner, the sweet area can be enlarged.</p> |
