PURPOSE:To continuously and automatically measure the sp. gr. and concn. of an aq. soln. which is the object to be subjected to sp. gr./concn. measurement in a short period of time by holding an object of a known volume and weight in the above-mentioned aq. soln. and measuring the holding power thereof. CONSTITUTION:The holding power in the state of holding the measuring object 1 in the aq. soln. 5 is measured by a load measuring instrument 3, by which the sp. gr. is determined from the volume and weight of the measuring object 1. As to the aq. soln. of the known material in the aq. soln. 5, the concn. of the aq. soln. 5 is determined from the sp. gr. of this material. Since the aq. soln. in a water tank 6 for measurement is kept circulated at all times by a sampling pump 7, the continuous measurement of the changing sp. gr./concn. of the aq. soln. is possible. |
