PURPOSE:To reduce a call loss rate by measuring the total number of operating channels of a station onto which traffic is concentrated, selecting an idle channel in the order of a time slot for the higher number and allocating a call caused newly thereto. CONSTITUTION:When a call from a transmission station to a reception station is caused, a call control management section 5 designates at first a time slot t1 to an idle channel retrieving section 8 and the retrieval section 8 retrieves an idle channel in the time slot t1 on a channel management table 7. The time slot is updated in such a manner to apply similar and sequential processing to each time slot. Based on the result of processing, the management section 5 selects idle channels whose number is equal to the required channel number of a new call sequentially from the time slot in which the total operating channel number of a central station is largest and allocates it to the new call. The call loss rate to the transmission/reception call relating to the central station is suppressed lower through the idle channel selection processing. |
