PURPOSE:To rapidly form a wide visual field simulating view field without requiring an expensive hardware by forming a wide visual field simulating view field video signal by synthesizing the visual field images of respective objects to be displayed. CONSTITUTION:Individual visual field image generating parts 6a to 6m generate the individual visual field images of respectively different sorts of objects (a ship, a buoy, a mountain, a building, etc.) to be displayed as picture signals to be monitored. The picture signals are inputted to respective corresponding image memories 8a to 8m in an image synthesizing part 7 and stored as image data. A video signal generator 10 receives the image data and simultaneously generates RGB video signals required to be displayed on visual field display devices 5a to 5n in each display channel. The RGB video signals are inputted to the plural display devices 5a to 5n having continuously arranged screens and displayed as a wide visual field simulating view field. Consequently, the load of display quantity can be reduced to about 1/10 of a convensional device. |
