PURPOSE:To provide a luminaire in which socket mounting bases of the same form can be mounted to both end parts of a frame to improve the manufacturing efficiency of the socket mounting bases, a socket mounting base different in form can be prevented from being erroneously mounted, and the number of parts can be reduced to efficiently and easily assemble an equipment body. CONSTITUTION:Socket mounting bases 13 are provided on both longitudinal end parts of two frames 12 opposed nearly in parallel to each other to form an equipment body 11, and the equipment body 11 is supported on a placing base by support leg bodies 51. The outside end parts of the socket mounting bases 13 are bent inward to form socket support parts 16. On the socket support parts 16, recessed lamp socket mounting parts 17 opposed to each other are symmetrically formed with an equal distance from the longitudinal center line of the socket mounting bases 13. Lamp sockets 18 are mounted opposite to each other only on one-side parts of the lamp socket mounting parts 17. Through holes 28 for passing a fluorescent lamp 19 are formed on end plates 26 in opposition to the lamp sockets 18. |
