PURPOSE:To enable proper control of the rotation of a motor without being accompanied by generation of heat and restriction on the driving capacity of a motor drive circuit, by changing a loop gain in a feedback control in accordance with a battery voltage. CONSTITUTION:A supply voltage of a battery 5 is detected by a voltage detector, and based on a detected value thereof, a gain correction is made for a synthesized error amount of a speed error amount and a phase error amount. After the supply voltage of the battery 5 is inputted to a digital computing unit 22 through a voltage converter 26 and subjected to A/D conversion, in other words, a supply voltage value of a drive circuit of a spindle motor 1 is computed and a necessary gain of a control loop is computed. Based on a value thus obtained, the gain correction is made for the error amount obtained by synthesizing the speed error amount with the phase error amount. According to this constitution, the rotation of the motor can be controlled properly without being accompanied by generation of heat and restriction on the driving capacity of the motor drive circuit. |
